New Headbands!

Guess what everyone!!!
We finally have new headbands in the shop!  And more will be put in over the weekend.
We'll also be having new arm warmers and a couple leg warmers in the shop within the next couple of weeks, depending on my classes.

These are just a few of the lovely bands we have, I think I have nearly forty to put in the shop before Christmas, not to mention the ones I haven't finished sewing yet.

Thanks for looking!

More pictures of camping

So, I said that I would upload more pictures of our camping trip. And I have finally gotten around to it!
YAY!
Sorry it took me so long. I've just been really busy. But here they are!

This was just a part of the beautiful lake.

One of the Falls

The valley just before sunset

I LOVE this picture!

I love how far you can see.
It was seriously SO beautiful there! I loved all the sites.
The best part was walking right up next to the waterfalls, either above them, or below.
And, the weather was perfect the first two days. The last two were bitter and cold. Ugh. I hate cold.

Anyways, we were camping at Fall Creek Falls. In case anyone was wondering.

More Scraps...

It's time to introduce the second wave of our lovely 2011 collection of scrappy scarves.  We're very pleased present these lovely shades of blue.

This family really has the blues.  Let me tell you a little about them:

 Here is Storm...
he's a whirlwind of shades and attitude.  He's a great companion to have if you like to be daring.  He'll really spice up your charm and warm up your day.

This is Arctic...
she's the angel of the group.  She's pure, soft, and flowing.  Nothing can rush her, she takes every day as it comes and has patience and a kind word for everyone.

 Glacier is...
quite the character.  She's certainly not shy but she's no show off either.  She loves sledding and drinking coco.

 You'll love Sunkissed...
because she's always ready to spread some joy.  She full of life and character; loves to laugh and you'll never catch her without a smile.

 In The Deep is...
full of mystery.  He's not one to speak his mind until he's thought it through completely.  Although he comes off cold, after you get to know him, you'll find he's really full of life.
Here we have Sunset Seas...
she has always been a dreamer.  Although she's a little quirky you really can't help but fall in love with her unique style.
Here is Mystic...
he the dark one of the group.  Even more mysterious than his brother, Mystic likes to blend in.  He lingers in the back of the group and observes more than interacts.  Still, he has a flare of his own and takes pride in it.
 And, lastly, High Tides...
she's steadfast and confident; always ready to spring into action.  Nothing scares her and she's able to stay calm no matter the circumstances.

Look for these scarves in our shop soon!  There will also be more to come.

Starting next Monday Paddywacks will be having our first giveaway!  The prize is a ten dollar gift certificate to the shop!  :):):)  Check back here soon for more details!

Fleetwood Mac

Okay. So my newest favorite band is Fleetwood Mac, I can't get enough of them!
They are seriously amazing. I love pretty much every song of theirs. A few I don't care for, but that's the way it always is, right?  Anyways, one of my favorite songs is Songbird, it is so beautiful and soothing.
It just makes me want to cry, it's so lovely. Please enjoy it for yourselves.

Taste of Things to Come

Well, this week has been so exciting and exhausting.  As mentioned before, Paddywacks's Etsy shop will be closed from Friday through Monday for the GRADD Arts and Crafts festival in Henderson, KY.  If you are in the area come on out for a good time and some wonderful stuff (not to mention my aunt and uncle's fabulous kettle korn!!!)   Paddywacks will be up on the lawn in front of the museum -- near the old tree.

I kept telling myself that I wasn't going to tempt you all...but I really just can't help it!  I've been busy working on new scarves for this season and they've turned out beautifully.  So, I'm going to give you a sneak preview of some of them.   If you see one you like I can hold it for you, or if it's gone already I can attempt to duplicate; however, after making close to 80 scarves in the past couple of weeks I am a little low on yarn.

Anyways, without further adu:

These are the lovely fall colors I have made in my scrappy scarves.  They've gotten bigger and better since last year (but we still love the originals, even though they're skinny "mini"s.)
Let me introduce the Fall family:
This lovely lady is Blush...
Don't let her name fool you though, she's got some serious spunk.
 Here we have Ka-Pow...
She may be bright and loud, but she's got a soft side too.
 This here is Woodland Moss...
He keeps to himself a bit but he's got a lot more to him than you see at first glance.
 Grizzly is...
a little bit intimidating at first -- but he's really a great guy (and he gives fabulous hugs.)
 This is Misty...
She always looks sharp no matter what and loves a good pair of black boots.
 Here we have Steve...
He's unique and simply complicated.  The oddball of the family but always a good guy to have around.  :)
 The name's Fire, Bon Fire...
He's a real ace when it comes to drawing attention and always looks good, even when he has a little bed head.
Ah, Scarlett...
She loves to be the center of attention, anywhere, everywhere, all the time.  Still, she's as soft and sweet as the best of them.
 And this is Blaze...
One of my personal favorites, Blaze is a bit...hefty, if you will.  But that's alright, after all it's only a little holiday weight, right?
 Here's Sunny Side Up...
Always cheerful, no matter the weather.  She's just got that air about her, you can't stay upset for long if she's around cause her mood is sure to spread.
 Ember is...
The quiet one of the bunch.  He's thoughtful, an expert at subtlety and tact, and enjoys adding just the right spark to a coat.
 This is Autumn...
She likes hiking and shopping, campfires and heels. A girl of many tastes, she never ceases to be practical and fun.
Finally, we have Glade...
Another one of my favorites, he's a bit "out there" and kind of a live wire, but there is most certainly never a dull moment when he's around.

P.S. More scarves coming soon!!!!
