Oh. Wow.

This week month has been crazy.  I really, truly am going to post new headbands soon(ish), as soon as I can.  School has been quite a load so far and I have a really big show coming up on Labor Day at Grand Rivers, Kentucky!  It's a three day event near Lake Barkley and it's going to be huge!  There will be a lot of vendors and I've heard it's a lot of fun!
If you live close by you should stop in and see us there, I can give directions if you're interested.  The prices to get in are $1 for walk-ins or $3 per car!  Hope to see you there!

Farewell.

One of our dogs died yesterday. He was 14. He had been doing quite well, considering how old he was.
Then yesterday morning he had a seizure. Afterwards he was so exhausted that he just laid there for a while. Then he started feeling better, he walked around, ate, and slept. Later that afternoon he had two more seizures. My mom called my dad, they talked and decided it was time to take him to the vet. He was so sick and tired and old. He couldn't move and he was barely conscious. So mom took him. We said our goodbyes, gave him hugs and kisses, and of course cried. We all loved that dog. Even I did, and I'm not a big fan of dogs. But he was a wonderful dog. We will miss him greatly. We'll love him forever.

Coming soon

The new headbands are practically finished!  I just have two more sets to finish sewing and then we'll have a photo shoot and they'll be up!  Yay!

I have so many new fabrics and colors that will be available, I just can't wait to finish them.

Here we go again

Well, the semester starts next week and I'm thrilled.  I've missed campus a lot, as well as having more things to occupy my time.  It's funny to me that I seem to get the most done when I have no time to do it in.
Last semester was wonderful, though a bit stressful, but I never once had a nightmare about missing a test or being late or anything.  This semester hasn't even started and I've already had two! Luckily they've both been fairly humorous.

On another note, I'm off to Gramma's to sew for the day and, of course, that means I'll be putting up headbands in all sorts of new colors, patterns, and textures!  Come back soon and I'll have pictures!  I should also point out that quite a few of the fabrics I'm using this time are vintage and that there will be a newly designed headband as well (assuming Dreamer doesn't like it so much that she snatches it.)
